Senior ELV Engineer – Data Center Projects

We are looking for a Senior ELV Engineer to join a leading technology consultancy delivering advanced solutions for data center infrastructure and smart building environments in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a key role for an experienced engineer with a strong background in design, supervision, and implementation of ELV systems in mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Digital Signage, and Car Park Management.
- Deliver ELV solutions tailored to data center environments, ensuring compliance with international standards and uptime requirements.
- Supervise site execution, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration with IT, MEP, and critical infrastructure systems.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments, and propose enhancements for existing ELV infrastructure.
- Manage project documentation including shop drawings, submittals, and handover packages.
- Supervise ELV system installation and commissioning on construction sites, ensuring alignment with project timelines, safety standards, and design intent.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018 standards and internal quality/security policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 7–9 years of experience in ELV systems, strong preference for data center project experience.
- Proven experience working on active construction sites, particularly in the delivery of ELV systems for large-scale infrastructure or data center projects.
- Proficient in systems such as CCTV, ACS, PA, BMS, and Intrusion Detection.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and other design tools.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple high-volume projects and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within the Kingdom as required.
Preferred Certifications
- BICSI RCDD, KNX, or manufacturer-specific ELV certifications.
- SCS (Copper & Fiber), CCTV, ACS, or Intrusion Detection certifications.
