About the Role
As a Senior Test Engineer you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products and systems. This is a hands-on, highly analytical position that blends technical testing expertise with creative problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
You will:
Conduct detailed manual analyses and develop robust automation scripts to validate complex system logic.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product specialists to ensure every release meets the highest quality standards.
Drive research and discovery initiatives to explore innovative testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Lead playbacks and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in JavaScript or Typescript (experience in other programming languages will also be considered).
Strong manual testing background with the ability to translate test cases into automation scripts.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, particularly for complex credit or calculation-based logic.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology.
2–3 years of experience in QA testing within a business context.
Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), impact analysis, and software quality assurance best practices
Good to Have:
Experience with Playwright, K6, or Bruno
Hands-on experience with Postman and Excel for API testing and data analysis.
